Bengali & English Fonts
Personal Project
Both the fonts “AnjaliDam” & “RanjitDam” are free for personal and non-profit use. I have dedicated both the fonts in the name of my parents who left into heavenly abode sometime back. Links to download the fonts are made available at this page.
Bengali Font – “AnjaliDam“
The font “AnjaliDam” is created by working on the curves and outlines. Great for posters and creative artwork.
English Font – “RanjitDam“
RanjitDam is an original san-serif typeface, designed in a self directed final project. The plan all the way through was to keep it easy and uncomplicated, with clean letter shape. RanjitDam has been applied to two weights – Regular, Bold. Great for posters, websites, big titles, books, the highly contrasted typeface.
Conclusion
While designing the fonts learnt a lot about the process involved in making fonts. I now look into fonts with a very different perspective. It was a great experience for me. Also, I have started working on some more fonts.
